Laudatio
Solemn farewell to Bernhard Meuser, the father of YOUCAT
Our admiration and deepest thanks go to Bernhard Meuser, whose thirteen years of work as the "father" of YOUCAT, chief author, publisher and managing director have significantly shaped the YOUCAT Foundation.
The YOUCAT publications are not simply books. Rather, they build bridges between God and people, cultures, languages and hearts. Bernhard Meuser's achievements were supported by an international community that listened to the guidance of the Holy Spirit, the words of Holy Scripture and the vitality of the Church's tradition.
In the coming weeks, we will be bidding farewell to Bernhard Meuser from active professional life. The fruits of his work, however, continue to have an impact - in over 60 languages.
